Hi Theo! I've been looking through your blog the past two days and enjoying your sketches very, very much. You have a beautiful way of drawing and capturing what you see. I must say I've gotten quite inspired by some of your techniques, too. When you pre-stain your paper, do you just go through a whole sketchbook and do a bunch of pages, then go out and fit the drawing to the background, or is the process of choosing the background more random?
